Dates
Consultech 2026 is a hybrid consulting + technical case competition held from February 22, 2026 at 11:30 AM EST to February 28, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST (submission deadline).
Final in-person judging and presentations will occur on March 1, 2026.
Location: MYHAL 150, 55 St. George Street, Toronto, ON.
Winners will be announced on March 1, 2026 at 4:20 PM EST.
Late submissions will not be accepted unless special circumstances apply. In such cases, teams must contact organizers through the official Discord server before the deadline. Approval is at the sole discretion of the organizing team.
Project and Submission Requirements
All submissions must directly address the official Consultech case brief provided to participants.
Specifically, teams must:
- Propose a redesigned membership model for CIC.
- Propose no more than 3–4 membership levels.
- Demonstrate progression of value over time.
- Restructure existing CIC benefits rather than introduce entirely new service lines.
- Prioritize feasibility for a small internal team.
- Solutions that significantly expand CIC’s operational scope beyond what is outlined in the case brief may be penalized.
Prizes
The winning team will receive a certificate recognizing their achievement at Consultech 2026.
Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

The following rubric applies specifically to the technical proof of concept.
The technical component will be evaluated on:
Technical POC Relevance
- Clearly supports the proposed membership model
- Demonstrates how member experience changes by role, stage, or engagement
- Shows segmentation logic or adaptive experience
Feasibility
- Realistic for CIC’s small internal team to implement and maintain
- Avoids heavy infrastructure or unrealistic builds
- Clearly states assumptions and scope limits
Use of Existing CIC Benefits
- Uses CIC’s current offerings effectively
- Restructures and sequences value rather than introducing unnecessary new services
Logical Implementation
- Clear system flow and user experience
- Demonstrates how engagement evolves over time
- Shows how members are guided to next actions
Clarity & Demonstration Quality
- Clear explanation of functionality
- Well-structured demo
- Easy to follow logic and value delivery
Note: Strategic analysis and business reasoning will be evaluated separately during in-person judging.
